This is the day that the Lord has made.

As this year draws to a close and Christmas swiftly approaches, I am purposely reflecting on the many blessing that, without such focus, I’d otherwise overlook.

I am thankful for my God, who sent his son Jesus to die for my sins, for his unwavering love that blessed me with everything else on this following list, in random order, so I can sleep tonight.

I am thankful for my family – that group of brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and a sister-in law, nieces, nephews, a step-mom and step-sister, step brothers, etc. who love me despite knowing all my history and faults, forgiving me each time I let them down or make a mistake. Each of them hold a special place in my heart, with a unique relationship filled with specific memories that endear each of them to me.
